The museum is pleased to exhibit one of only two known 1902 Orient motorcycles; the earliest manufacturer to use the term "motorcycle." We also house 30 motorcycles older than 1929, The museum is treasure of motorcycle history and memorabilia, and the collection is one of the finest to to be found anywhere.
More than 100 bikes are currently displayed in the museum and additional items are arriving often. The museum held a "soft" opening on April 2, 2016 with over 125 visitors and a Grand Opening on May 28, 2016 with more than 400 visitors. Though the museum is still being completed and more display items are being added, there is a lot to see.
The St. Francis Motorcycle Museum houses more than 100 vintage motorcycles from 40 manufacturers including ACE, Cleveland, Jefferson, Emblem, Excelsior, Flanders, Harley-Davidson, Henderson, Indian, Marsh-Metz, Reading Standard, Pope, Yale, Feilbach Limited, Iver Johnson, and others.
