December 2015 - Interior work gets moving...

Several workdays (and nights) were held, and progress on the museum interior progressed rapidly. 

January-February 2016 - More inside work completed...

Interior walls finished, stage and front desk enclosure built, security system installed.

July 2015 - Construction Continues...

Construction of the museum building advanced at a fast pace in July.

2014 - The idea begins to take form...

In 2014, initial plans began to take form for the museum.  In May, several of the proposed museum motorcycles were displayed at the "Saturday in the Park" Car Show and fund raising began.  An initial board was formed, and bikes were displayed at the local banks. 

Xxxx, 2013 - The dream of the St. Francis Motorcycle Museum is born...
Visitation between friends results in the idea of building a motorcycle museum in the small Northwest Kansas community of St. Francis.  Many questions needed to be answered and funding needed to be raised to even begin to realize the dream.  With determination, a small group of promoters began to meet and discuss ideas for the museum, and the project gradually began to develop.

March 2016 - Final construction steps...

Floor finishing and final construction steps completed.


September 2015 - Construction and planning continues...

Interior brickwork and glasswork completed.  New board member added.


Early 2015 - Bids Accepted - Construction Begins...

In the first half of 2015, construction bids were requested, received, and accepted for the museum building.  The Museum Board was expanded to seven members.  In April, construction began.

October 2015 - Work continues; Fundraiser begins...

Electrical and plumbing work begins. Vault door installed. Engraved brick fundraiser launched.

November 2015 - Logo designed; Materials gathered...

A logo was designed for the museum, old barn wood was gathered for building materials, and additional construction continued.

August 2015 - Front facia brickwork completed...

Brickwork and the front awning on the museum were completed in August. Security and interior wall decor discussed.
